Another.Tagged.Up.Track. I grow tired of posting these but when I try to wait for the clean version I get a million Twitter replies, “Hey do you have that new _____ track?” Yes if it’s new and a major artist I’m aware of it, sometimes I just hold out because
you can’t even enjoy the tracks with all of these gawd awful tags on them. But here you go anxious rap fans.

It’s hard to label what CuDi does but it’s clear that he’s found his lane and he’s sticking to it. I’m not sure if this will make the cut for the new album MOTM but it’s decent to listen to, if you’re stoned.

T.I. Arrested In L.A. For Felony Drug Possession, Could Face More Prison Time

Atlanta Hip-Hop star T.I. could be heading back to prison, after police allegedly found meth-amphetamines and ecstasy in his Maybach last night (September 1st) in West Hollywood, California.

According to the LA County Sheriff’s department, the charges T.I. faces include a minimum sentence of a year in state prison, in addition to fines that will be determined by a judge.

According to TMZ.com, T.I. and his wife Tiny Cottle were stopped in their expensive Maybach coup for a traffic violation around 10:30PM last night.

Police searched the vehicle after smelling marijuana and found the drugs, reported to be meth-amphetamines and ecstasy.

Both were booked on felony possession of a controlled substance and have since been released on $10,000 bail, a piece.

Tiny was arrested for possessing marijuana and ecstasy in the past.

In October of 2007, Tiny was arrested for possession of marijuana and ecstasy, during a sting operation that resulted in T.I.’s arrest for attempting to purchase machine guns and silencers.

Update: One of the drugs could have possibly been codeine which is mixed with soda and called…”sizzurp” “lean” or “drank”. Take a look at a picture of inside the Maybach.

As he readies his King Uncaged album (release date unkown) T.I. felt like it was time to drop another single so he enlisted Ricky Rozay, who just smashed the summer with a few street bangers, to help him make a banger of his own. It looks like these two have worked out their differences since the time when Rick Ross did this interview.

This J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League produced track sounds like something we’ve heard T.I. on before (but so does most of his production) but I do like the the haunting “opera” like sound during the verses. I’ll admit when I heard the title I had a blank stare but this isn’t too shabby. At nearly 8 minutes long you probably won’t hear this on the radio though, does anyone still listen to the radio?

Cee-Lo’s viral video of typography for this “Fuck You” track was an instant hit, receiving a great reaction from music fans of all genres. It was only right that he followed up with a proper visual taking us on a journey through the life of the narrator of the song as he experiences the rejection head on.

Word is him and Curtis will also be doing a video for the remix so be on the lookout for that as well.

Wiz Kahlifa announced a new track earlier today via Twitter that was supposed to be dropping at midnight. You know how this internet stuff works though *sigh*. So much for a scheduled release. Rick Ross was supposed to premier this new track with his weed carriers Triple C’s Thursday but unfortunately for them some one went ahead and leaked it a few days early. It’s really not a big deal though because there’s nothing ground breaking here and with the repetitive Lex Luger production this seems like a continuation of tracks like BMF & MC Hammer but with watered down weed carrier verses.

Their new album Color, Cut, Clarity should be coming soon for those of you that care.

Nottz & Asher Roth -Enforce The Law

Nottz and Asher Roth are combining forces to release a new EP titled “Rawth” (joint projects seem to be becoming the trend these days). The new album will be produced solely by Nottz and features rhymes by both Asher and Nottz. The EP will supposedly drop in September and this track is a sign that it very well could be finished or close to be so stay tuned for that.

Honestly I think this is pretty dope, Asher gets a lot of shit online for whatever reason but I’ve definitely been watching his progress and I think he’s here to stay. Nottz is an ill producer but I’m not sure I’m sold on his rhymes, I guess we’ll see how good they do withing the next few weeks.
